The 24th United Nations climate change conference underway in Poland
During the opening ceremony of the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP24) the famous British naturalist Sir David Attenborough addressed the delegates and stressed the imortance and urgency for the world to act on climate.

The conference aims to discuss the next steps towards the implementation for the 2015 Paris Agreement which aims to coordinate international effort to halt warming at 1.5°C.
The COP in Katowice, Poland, is the 24th of its kind in as many years, is seen as a major step to assess the worlds efforts and progress on climate change.
